Go Royals and CHIEFS!!!!

By: Charlotte O’Hara, Johnson County 3rd District Commissioner

This does not reflect the majority viewpoint of the JoCo BOCC

Monday night in KC, what a night for sports!!! Team work brought wins to both the Royals and the Chiefs, an unbelievable accomplishment. NOW we need to have the same TEAM spirit as we get close to the final push for votes in the November 5 the election.

I’m sure many of you are like me, I have always waited for Election Day to vote. Why would I want to vote early? Election Day is Election Day. However, it is time for us to wake up and become a team player and GET OUR VOTES IN AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE!

Why???

And I had not thought of this until it was brought to my attention at Senator

Marshall’s event. When we vote early, the fact that we have already voted is public

information through the JoCo Election Office and available to EVERY campaign. So, if I know you have voted I don’t have to spend time and money on reminding you with mailers, text messages, Facebook ads, etc. etc.

So, please be a team player and get your vote in early!!!

Saturday, October 19th , in person voting begins. And I will be at the polls!!!
